Deepen your practice together

The gifts of meditation are profound. The best are found in community.

We invite you to discover and deepen a meditation practice. You don’t have to do it alone.

NZCCM Meditation Groups are welcoming communities of people around Aotearoa who choose Christian meditation as a spiritual practice. We value the support, learning and companionship we receive from each other.

You are warmly invited to join us for meditation retreats, seminars and community days.

Christian and inclusive

The New Zealand Community for Christian Meditation welcomes people of all faiths to join us in this shared tradition of deepening the spiritual life.

We acknowledge a common life source that nurtures our unfolding, even though we might call the experience by different names – God, Christ, Love, Spirit, Universe, Creator.

We can meditate outside of any spiritual tradition but, it will always lead us back home where we belong: the heart.” - John Main, OSB.

  • "Meditating together each week creates a rhythm beyond my own efforts. The group holds me in love. It reminds me that the journey inward is never solitary, and that even in silence, we are profoundly connected."
